What this service handles

Irregular operations are a capacity problem that arrives without warning. A diversion puts a hundred and eighty passengers and a crew on the ground at an airport with no plan, at an hour when everybody's phone goes to voicemail.

What makes this solvable is not owning vehicles — it is being able to reach many operators quickly and know which of them accepted. VaultPac's offer routing sends the work to a preferred operator with a window to accept and falls to a backup pool automatically, and dispatch holds the whole event on one board rather than as a hundred separate calls.

Offered to airlines, handlers and hotel partners. As with everything else in this section, it is an offer rather than a description of an existing carrier contract.

  3. Vehicles confirmed and tracked Who accepted what, visible on the board

How VaultPac coordinates it

Every booking is a trip. A trip carries trip services, and each service breaks into the individual movements that actually have to happen — which is why the people and the bags do not have to travel the same way.

  2. Trip services
  3. Individual movements
  • Timed offer & backup routing

The preferred operator is offered the movement first and has a window to accept; if they do not, it moves to the backup pool automatically.

  • Affiliate & operator network

Vetted operators take work through the provider application, with their own view of the movements they hold.

  • Operator assignment

Movements assigned to a specific operator and vehicle, with the assignment visible to dispatch throughout.

  • Dispatch monitoring

Every movement on one board while it runs, so a late arrival is seen rather than reported.

  • Multiple vehicles

Several vehicles on one itinerary, each with its own assignment, timing and passenger list.

  • Passenger movement

Sedan, SUV, Sprinter, minibus and coach movements priced and dispatched by the transportation engine.

  • Changes during the trip

Times, stops, vehicles and passenger counts can change after a trip has started without rebooking it.

  • 24/7 coordination desk Planned

A staffed desk handling changes, late flights, no-shows and replacements around the clock.

  • Group manifest

Send the passenger and bag list you already have. It is read into the trip instead of being retyped into a form.

Capabilities marked Planned are designed and in progress but not live yet. They are listed so you know what is coming, not so you book on them.

What runs this movement

Assignment reads the passenger count and the bag count, so the vehicle that arrives fits both. Larger movements run several.

Why VaultPac for this

  • Offer routing reaches many operators at once and records who accepted, which is the bottleneck at two in the morning.
  • The whole event sits on one board rather than in a call log.
  • Backup routing is automatic, so a declined offer does not become a stalled movement.
  • Reconciliation afterwards comes from the record rather than from invoices.

Important

  • VaultPac does not currently hold irregular-operations contracts with any airline. This describes a capability being offered to carriers and handlers.
  • A fully staffed 24/7 desk is a planned capability. Current out-of-hours coverage is agreed contractually rather than assumed.

Questions

How quickly can you scale up?

It depends on the hour and on operator availability, and we will give you a real answer for your market and your volumes rather than a number that reads well. What is structural is that the offer reaches many operators at once instead of being phoned round.

Is the 24/7 desk live today?

A fully staffed round-the-clock desk is planned rather than in place. Out-of-hours coverage under a contract is agreed specifically, and we will not describe it as more than it is.
