What this service handles
An airport transfer is the most ordinary movement there is, and it is where most ground transportation quietly fails. The flight lands early and the car is not there yet. The party is six people and nine bags and the SUV was sized for the people. The chauffeur waits forty minutes at a hotel because the bags have to be checked in before the next passenger can be collected.
VaultPac books the transfer as a movement with a pickup, a destination, an optional set of stops and a known bag count — and then, where it helps, splits the luggage onto its own movement so the passenger vehicle is not doing two jobs at once. The same booking covers both; dispatch sees both.
Vehicles run from sedan through SUV, Sprinter and minibus, assigned against the passenger count and the luggage count rather than against a guess. Oversized items — golf bags, trade-show cases, strollers — are counted on the movement so the vehicle that turns up can actually take them.

How VaultPac coordinates it
Every booking is a trip. A trip carries trip services, and each service breaks into the individual movements that actually have to happen — which is why the people and the bags do not have to travel the same way.

Trip → Trip Services → Movements
One trip holds every service on it, and each service breaks into the individual movements that have to happen. A single booking can carry people and bags on different vehicles and different clocks without becoming two bookings.
-
Passenger movement
Sedan, SUV, Sprinter, minibus and coach movements priced and dispatched by the transportation engine.
-
Luggage movement
Bags booked as their own movement, with their own route, their own timing and their own proof.
-
Ordered stops
A movement can carry intermediate stops in order, so a route with three pickups is one movement rather than three bookings.
-
Meet & greet
A greeter recorded on the movement itself, so dispatch knows the handoff is staffed and not assumed.
-
Oversized & special items
Golf bags, trade-show cases, strollers, production cases and similar items counted on the movement so the right vehicle is assigned.
-
Dispatch monitoring
Every movement on one board while it runs, so a late arrival is seen rather than reported.
-
Operator assignment
Movements assigned to a specific operator and vehicle, with the assignment visible to dispatch throughout.
-
Masked communication
Passenger and chauffeur reach each other without either holding the other's number.
What runs this movement
Assignment reads the passenger count and the bag count, so the vehicle that arrives fits both. Larger movements run several.

Why VaultPac for this
- Passenger and luggage can be separate movements on one booking, so a full car is not a slow car.
- Vehicle assignment reads the bag count, not just the head count.
- Dispatch watches the movement while it runs rather than hearing about it afterwards.
- The chauffeur and the passenger can reach each other without either holding the other's number.
Questions
Can the bags go separately from the passengers?
Yes. Luggage can be booked as its own movement on the same trip, with its own vehicle and its own delivery window. It is the usual answer when a party has more bags than the passenger vehicle should be carrying, or when the passenger is going somewhere the bags should not follow.
What happens if the flight is early or late?
Give us the flight number and the desk works from the arrival rather than the booked time. Automatic arrival updates from the carrier feed are built but not yet switched on, so today a late flight is caught by dispatch watching the board — tell us the flight anyway, because that is what they watch.
Do you meet passengers inside the terminal?
Meet & greet is recorded on the movement itself, so dispatch knows the handoff is staffed. Without it, the pickup is curbside at the scheduled door.
Which Chicago airports do you cover?
O'Hare and Midway as standard, plus the regional and general-aviation fields around Chicago for private aviation movements. Airport-to-airport transfers between them are a booking of their own.
