What this service handles

A terminal is a straightforward place if you travel weekly and a genuinely difficult one otherwise. An elderly parent arriving alone, a family connecting between airlines with four bags, a visitor whose English is uncertain, a group of twenty whose flight has just split across two carousels — these arrivals need a person, not a pickup time.

Passenger assistance is the meet & greet movement extended: the greeter stays with the party through baggage claim and out to the vehicle, handles the bags, manages the connection, and only closes the movement once the handoff is complete.

It is sold as a sub-service of Meet & Greet rather than as its own booking, because it is almost always attached to another movement.

How VaultPac coordinates it

Every booking is a trip. A trip carries trip services, and each service breaks into the individual movements that actually have to happen — which is why the people and the bags do not have to travel the same way.

  1. Trip
  2. Trip services
  3. Individual movements
  • Meet & greet

A greeter recorded on the movement itself, so dispatch knows the handoff is staffed and not assumed.

  • Passenger movement

Sedan, SUV, Sprinter, minibus and coach movements priced and dispatched by the transportation engine.

  • Trip → Trip Services → Movements

One trip holds every service on it, and each service breaks into the individual movements that have to happen. A single booking can carry people and bags on different vehicles and different clocks without becoming two bookings.

  • Dispatch monitoring

Every movement on one board while it runs, so a late arrival is seen rather than reported.

  • Luggage movement

Bags booked as their own movement, with their own route, their own timing and their own proof.

  • Masked communication

Passenger and chauffeur reach each other without either holding the other's number.

What runs this movement

Assignment reads the passenger count and the bag count, so the vehicle that arrives fits both. Larger movements run several.

Why VaultPac for this

  • The greeter stays with the party rather than pointing them at a door.
  • Recorded on the movement, so dispatch knows the arrival is staffed.
  • Attaches to an existing transfer instead of being a separate booking to coordinate.

Questions

Is this wheelchair assistance?

No. Wheelchair and mobility assistance inside the terminal is provided by the airline and the airport, and should be arranged with them. Our greeter meets the party, manages the bags and completes the handoff alongside that.

Can you meet an unaccompanied minor?

Only within the airline's own unaccompanied-minor procedure, which names the person permitted to collect them. We can be that named person by prior arrangement, but the airline's process governs it.
