What this service handles
Aircraft move fields for reasons that have nothing to do with the passengers: slots, handling, fuel, maintenance, weather. When it happens, the people and the bags have to get there by road, usually with less notice than anybody would like.
VaultPac runs these as movements between the Chicago-area fields, with the FBO recorded at both ends so the vehicle arrives where the aircraft actually is. Passengers, crew and luggage can each move differently — the crew to the new field, the passengers to a hotel, the bags to whichever comes first.
The Chicago field network in scope includes Midway, O'Hare, Chicago Executive, DuPage, Gary, Aurora, Lewis University, Lansing and Waukegan.

How VaultPac coordinates it
Every booking is a trip. A trip carries trip services, and each service breaks into the individual movements that actually have to happen — which is why the people and the bags do not have to travel the same way.

-
FBO coordination
Tail number, operator, FBO and arrival details captured on the movement so the vehicle meets the aircraft rather than the terminal.
-
Passenger movement
Sedan, SUV, Sprinter, minibus and coach movements priced and dispatched by the transportation engine.
-
Luggage movement
Bags booked as their own movement, with their own route, their own timing and their own proof.
-
Multiple vehicles
Several vehicles on one itinerary, each with its own assignment, timing and passenger list.
-
Dispatch monitoring
Every movement on one board while it runs, so a late arrival is seen rather than reported.
-
Changes during the trip
Times, stops, vehicles and passenger counts can change after a trip has started without rebooking it.
-
Operator assignment
Movements assigned to a specific operator and vehicle, with the assignment visible to dispatch throughout.
What runs this movement
Assignment reads the passenger count and the bag count, so the vehicle that arrives fits both. Larger movements run several.

Why VaultPac for this
- The FBO is recorded at both ends, so nobody is driving to the wrong side of an airport.
- Passengers, crew and bags can go three different ways on one trip.
- Short-notice changes are the expected case here, handled on the board rather than by rebooking.
Questions
Which fields are in scope?
Midway and O'Hare, plus Chicago Executive, DuPage, Gary, Aurora, Lewis University, Lansing and Waukegan. If your aircraft is repositioning somewhere else in the region, ask — the answer is usually yes, but we would rather confirm than list a field we have never served.
