What this service handles

Airlines and their contractors move staff constantly and unglamorously: between terminals and employee parking, to operations centres, to hotels during disruption, across shift changes.

It is a recurring-contract category rather than a booking category, and it runs on the same scheduled-movement and assignment machinery as crew transport.

It is listed as a later opportunity rather than a current focus, and it is not promoted.

How VaultPac coordinates it

Every booking is a trip. A trip carries trip services, and each service breaks into the individual movements that actually have to happen — which is why the people and the bags do not have to travel the same way.

  2. Trip services
  3. Individual movements
  • Passenger movement

Sedan, SUV, Sprinter, minibus and coach movements priced and dispatched by the transportation engine.

  • Operator assignment

Movements assigned to a specific operator and vehicle, with the assignment visible to dispatch throughout.

  • Timed offer & backup routing

The preferred operator is offered the movement first and has a window to accept; if they do not, it moves to the backup pool automatically.

  • Dispatch monitoring

Every movement on one board while it runs, so a late arrival is seen rather than reported.

  • Account billing

Charges belong to an account rather than to a single booking, so one programme can carry several contacts, cards and cost centres.

  • Affiliate & operator network

Vetted operators take work through the provider application, with their own view of the movements they hold.

What runs this movement

Assignment reads the passenger count and the bag count, so the vehicle that arrives fits both. Larger movements run several.

Why VaultPac for this

  • Recurring patterns run as a contract with recorded assignment rather than as repeated bookings.
  • Automatic fallback when an assigned operator cannot cover a shift run.

Important

  • VaultPac does not currently hold contracts with airlines or their contractors for employee transportation.

Questions

Is this available now?

It is a recurring-contract category we are open to rather than a service we are actively promoting. If you have volume in Chicago, the conversation is worth having.
