What this service handles
This is not a service. Nothing described here can be booked, and VaultPac operates no autonomous vehicles.
It is recorded because the architecture has a view on it. VaultPac assigns movements to providers rather than to a fleet it owns, and an autonomous operator is structurally just another provider type for a narrow class of movements — short, well-defined, no luggage custody, no greeter, no as-directed hours.
The movements VaultPac is actually built around are the opposite of that: custody handoffs, changing itineraries, multi-vehicle programmes and judgement at the kerb. Autonomous fleets are a plausible complement to a small part of the work and not a replacement for any of the rest, which is why this sits in the catalog as a future possibility rather than as a roadmap item.
