What this service handles

A great many real journeys are not A to B. Collect two people downtown, a third from a hotel, drop one at a meeting, take the rest to the airport. Booked as separate trips, that is four bookings that do not know about each other and a chauffeur working from a text message.

VaultPac supports ordered stops on the movement itself. The route is one movement with a sequence, the chauffeur has the whole itinerary, and passengers joining and leaving along the way are part of the plan rather than an improvisation.

Stops also carry the luggage logic: bags can be collected at one stop and delivered at another without the passenger being present for both.

How VaultPac coordinates it

Every booking is a trip. A trip carries trip services, and each service breaks into the individual movements that actually have to happen — which is why the people and the bags do not have to travel the same way.

  1. Trip
  2. Trip services
  3. Individual movements
  • Ordered stops

A movement can carry intermediate stops in order, so a route with three pickups is one movement rather than three bookings.

  • Passenger movement

Sedan, SUV, Sprinter, minibus and coach movements priced and dispatched by the transportation engine.

  • Trip → Trip Services → Movements

One trip holds every service on it, and each service breaks into the individual movements that have to happen. A single booking can carry people and bags on different vehicles and different clocks without becoming two bookings.

  • Luggage movement

Bags booked as their own movement, with their own route, their own timing and their own proof.

  • Changes during the trip

Times, stops, vehicles and passenger counts can change after a trip has started without rebooking it.

  • Dispatch monitoring

Every movement on one board while it runs, so a late arrival is seen rather than reported.

  • Oversized & special items

Golf bags, trade-show cases, strollers, production cases and similar items counted on the movement so the right vehicle is assigned.

  • Masked communication

Passenger and chauffeur reach each other without either holding the other's number.

What runs this movement

Assignment reads the passenger count and the bag count, so the vehicle that arrives fits both. Larger movements run several.

Why VaultPac for this

  • The platform supports stops explicitly, so a route is one movement rather than four bookings.
  • The chauffeur works from the itinerary, not from a forwarded message.
  • Bags can be picked up at one stop and dropped at another.
  • A stop added on the day is an edit rather than a new booking.

Questions

How many stops can one movement have?

Enough for a real itinerary. Past a certain point the day is better booked as as-directed hours, and the booking flow or the desk will say so.

Can we add a stop on the day?

Yes — it is added to the running movement and recorded against the trip.
